David week 8...354.4 (+0.8 lbs.) Total loss 22.2 lbs.

Not a great week as far as eating goes, but luckily I exercised almost everyday so that saved me.  I look forward to doing better this week.

Nick Week Eight 334.0 {-1.7} Totoal Loss 27lbs


Not bad weight loss when I feel like I did nothing to lose the weight. I did eat the same as usual. Nicole says that I did not put the most effort into this week but if you call eating a lot less and a lot healthier than I used to no effort, then I guess I did nothing. I have to admit that I did not do much exercising this week. I was real busy with work and frankly I just could not get the motivation to go. I guess I have those weeks. I am sure this next week I will go more. So good luck to me for next week.

David week 7...353.6 (-3.6 lbs.) Total loss 23 lbs.


All I can say is that I got LUCKY this week. I did pretty good most of the week but on Saturday we went out with some friends to Claim Jumper and instead of getting a regular meal, I shared a sampler and a BBQ chicken pizza with my wife. The sampler was basically every deep-fried thing you can think of. I felt like I was at the State Fair or something. We also shared the chocolate calzone which I have to say was absolutely AMAZING!!! I did get a chance to work out a few times this week so I think that saved me.

I haven't been able to post pics so here are a couple.  The first is my engagement pic.  I'm trying to ATLEAST get back down to this weight which was 270 lbs.  The second pic is the only pic I could find that was around the time Nick and I started this blog.  So I was about 376 lbs.

Nick Week Seven 335.7 {-.9lbs} Total Loss 25.3


Well not the biggest weight loss number that I have put up since I started eating healthy. I have to admit that it is pretty good considering the food that was in my house weekend. Nicole's family was in town for Kristine's first trip to the temple. it was also Hallie and Avery's birthday party. On Saturday I had my protein shake for breakfast and then did not eat until dinner time. By that time I was so hungry that I could have eaten a house. So we went to Jack in the Crack and I felt like I needed the biggest hamburger on the menu and then 2 tacos. Not the best decision that I have ever made. Then on Sunday I snacked a little more than I should have. All in all not the way that I used to eat but more than I should eat. I still need to get control of myself in the party settings. At least I had a loss and not a gain like someone else. I did not get to the gym once this week. Need to do better. Happy birthday Hallie. The big number 7.

David week 6..357.2 (-3.4 lbs.) Total loss 19.4 lbs.

Well at least I didn't GAIN this week huh??  YEAH!!! Playing basketball has saved me because I hadn't got into an exercise routine until, finally, this week on Monday.  I have been riding  a bike for cardio and lifting weights.  Today was the first day I tried to ride my bike to work.  It was a nice ride there, but the freaking wind came out of nowhere in the afternoon and it was HELL riding home!  I think I could have walked faster than I was riding it was horrible, but hey I probably burned twice the calories.  I'm doing okay with my eating habits.  A lot better than before, but after the first month it seems my cravings are getting worse not better which is pretty annoying.  I've had a cold this week and I hope that is why I feel drained of energy because usually exercise and dieting give me more energy, but I have been feeling sluggish this week.  I NEED A RED BULL!!!! (Red Bull tm. is NOT an official sponsor of the fat boy club)

Well I did awesome on exercise this week. I think that I only missed a couple of days. I started using the eliptical machine. It kicked my butt at first but I got used to it and I love it. It makes the time go by faster than when I rode the bike. I have kept up my good eating. It is starting to just become the way I eat. I did drink a couple of sodas this week but it was not what it used to be. I will have one once in awhile but stick to water. I like the water because I love the fealing of flushing out my system, I just have to pee every ten minutes . I just feel so much better about myself. I can really tell that work is getting a little easier with the pounds that I have shed. I just want it to all be gone and have a clean slate. I guess it will happen just not as fast as I want it. David week 5..360.6 (+2.2lbs.) Total loss 16lbs.

DANGIT!!!!!!!!  It hasn't been a stellar week for me.  I did pretty good until Saturday.  The Amavisca's had us over for their daughters birthday party and there were all sorts of snacks along with PIZZA.  Lets just say that I enjoyed myself.  Then on Sunday my family came over for the Super Bowl and I had hot dogs, chips, baked beans, and cheesecake.  WOOOPS!!!  I guess I deserve those 2 extra pounds.  I have no excuses...I am ashamed and I plan on doing better next week.

Nick Week Five 338.1 {-5.5lbs} Total Loss 22.9


Turned out to be a good week with weight loss. I thought that it being Supper Bowl Sunday would cause me some problems but it was fast Sunday so that helped. It left room for all the crap that I ate Sunday night. I still feel like I need to get control over my eating at party's. I don't think that I went totally crazy but I did not use a plate and I just hovered over the food and snapped at anybody that came close and told them that it was all mine. I think that people were offended. I worked out a couple of times this week but I ate really well. The way I eat is starting to become a habit and I think that I somewhat have control over it. So to end I need to work on my party manners. Get a plate and fill it up and then that is it. Be happy with what I have. I am starting to see some differrence in how my cloths fit. I am just so fat that 22 lbs just is not as noticeable as if I weighed 150 lbs. Till next week good by and good day.
