David week 12...348.6 (-1.4 lbs.) Total Loss 28 lbs.



I feel like I'm getting my second wind. This past week was awesome for me. I only lost about a pound, but it feels good. I rode 32 miles on my bike last week. 24 to work and back and 8 with my brother James on my day off. I really am enjoying it. It's not the most intense exercise, but its good for me right now at the weight I am. Jogging is just too hard on my knees. I also bench pressed 285 lbs. which is more than I could lift in a long time. My goal is to bench press 350 lbs. I also timed myself in the 40 yard dash and didn't do too bad. My goal for that is to run a 4.9, which is fast for a big man.
As far as eating goes I did really well.  I've been drinking protein shakes a lot and just eating lots of fruits and vegetables.  Easter was hard.  I over ate a little bit, but come on, it WAS Easter.  
I'm excited that I broke into the 340's, but I just can't wait until I can break through below 300lbs.   Thanks, Katrina for your comments and thanks to my family for support.  Let's keep it up Nick!!!

LAME!!  Oh well, I thought I did better than I did this week.  All in all I feel pretty good about the week and atleast I didn't gain.  I will post pics and blog more next week.

Nick Week Eleven 329.8 {-2.1} Totoal Loss 31.2lbs


I did it. I lost all my vacation weight plus some. I have gotten back into it. I slipped a little for the week of vacation but I have recommitted and feel good about the week. It is nice to be in the 320s again . I look forward to seeing next week. 200s here I come!

Nick Week Ten ?


We went to Utah for a week and I did OK. We did a lot of sitting around chatting. I did weigh in when I got home and I was around 334. I don't think that I could of gained that much. So we will see what happens next week. Will I we back.

I'M BACK!!!!! David week 10...350.8 (-3.6 lbs.) Total Loss 25.8 lbs.

YES!!!!!  These past few weeks had been REALLY frustrating, but really it came down to me not doing as much as I could.  Well..after being stuck around 355 for 3 weeks, I finally pushed on through and kicked butt last week.  I ate really well and exercised every day except Sunday.  It felt really good and its given me a little boost and I'm excited to keep it up.  
I've really been trying to find fun things to do for exercise so I've been riding my bike to work 2-3 times a week, playing basketball, tennis, lifting weights, and I'm even going to start boxing my brother every week.  If you don't know, boxing is one of the most tiring activities out there.  We probably won't go full speed, but it should be a really good workout.  
Nick has challenged me to a YouTube race and all I have to say Nick is...ANYTIME...ANYWHERE!!!!  I'm ready baby!!!
